God has given Amanda a passion and desire to teach the Gospel to children and partner with their parents in leading them to know and love Christ and to grow in their relationship with Him. 

Amanda grew up in Paris, Texas where she decided to follow Jesus at the age of 10.  She has worked in several Christian preschools over the years, including First Friends Preschool, prior to joining the staff of First Baptist Church Prosper in 2014 as a Family Ministry Assistant.  She has served as the Children’s Ministry Director since 2019. Amanda also holds certificates in Christian Ministry and New Testament Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Amanda and her husband Jag have lived in the Prosper area with their four children since 2001. She enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family.
