Jared believes that music and singing are among the best ways to embed rich theology into our hearts and stir our affections for Jesus. In leading worship, Jared’s goal is to glorify God while shepherding His people to respond to Him with joy and awe for all that He has done. Jared is devoted to writing modern hymns and worship songs for the local church that are theologically rich, singable, and glorifying to God.

Raised by kind and faithful Christian parents in Hillsboro, Texas, Jared became a believer as a young teenager and felt called to ministry during his senior year of high school. He earned a B.A. in Christian Leadership from Dallas Baptist University and an M.A. in Worship Leadership from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity in Worship Leadership from the same institution, with plans to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Worship soon after. Jared has been serving in full-time ministry since 2017.

Jared is married to his wonderful wife, Shelby, and together they have two boys: Nathan and Nolan. They enjoy going to water parks, watching movies, visiting new coffee shops, and indulging in Oatmeal Cream Pie Blue Bell ice cream.
