Katie loves kids and Jesus, and she loves showing & teaching kids how much Jesus loves them!   The preschool years shape so much of a child and their feelings about school in the future, and that is a responsibility that she doesn't take lightly.  

Katie was born & raised in Baytown, Texas and came to know Jesus as Lord & Savior at a young age.  She received my Bachelor's from LeTourneau University and her Masters from the University of Texas at Tyler. She taught in middle school for years before staying home for a period with her own children.  It was then that she realized how much she adores little people. She began working with preschoolers in 2015 and was blessed with the role of Director of First Friends in 2018.  

Katie has been married to her husband, Jason, since 2005, and they have 2 children:  Brooklyn & Clayton.  These days, Katie spends most of her time on some sort of court or field watching her children play soccer, basketball, football, and baseball.
