Phillip has been serving in worship ministry for nearly 18 years. He loves congregational singing and believes the songs we sing together have a unique way of helping the truths of Scripture take root in our hearts. His desire is to lead worship that is grounded in God’s Word, centered on Christ, and gives the church something worth carrying with them long after Sunday morning.

Over the years, Phillip has served in a variety of ministry roles while also building and running businesses as an entrepreneur. He holds a degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in Biblical Studies and Music & Worship. He enjoys the intersection of theology and music and is passionate about helping the whole church sing together with both understanding and affection.

Phillip and his wife, Liz, have been married for over ten years and live in Celina with their four children, Yael, Keanna, Phillip Jr., and Judah. Phillip genuinely enjoys getting to know people and rarely passes up an opportunity to grab coffee or lunch with someone new. He loves good conversation, learning from others, and building relationships with people from all walks of life.

More than anything, Phillip is grateful for the privilege of serving the local church and helping God’s people sing together about who He is and what He has done for us in Christ.
